Su Casa 2024 begins Tuesday May 7th at JASA older adults center in Throg’s Neck, 550 Balcom Ave, Bronx NY 10465. 10AM – 12PM. It runs through to June 25th.

The culminating celebration is scheduled for June 25th at JASA Einstein – 135 Einstein Loop N #46, Bronx NY 10475. PH: 718 671 5161. It’s gonna be a PARTY! – with delicious food, gift bag giveaways & raffles of VISA gift cards, a blood pressure monitor, and a neck massager. A display of finished craft items and photographs will also be presented for viewing.

SU-CASA is a community arts engagement program that places artists and organizations for collaborative residencies at senior centers across the five boroughs of New York City. The program provides selected artists with a stipend in exchange for the creation and delivery of arts programming for older adults.

SU-CASA is supported by public funds from the New York City Council, in partnership with the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA) and Department for the Aging (DFTA). It is carried out in collaboration with New York City’s local arts councils.
