“Muliner Playground Art” will be a vibrant outdoor installation created by local Bronx artist Ruth Marshall working alongside with community participants. Installed along fencing at Matthews Muliner Playground, off Morris Park Ave in the Bronx, this artwork aims to beautify the park, creating an uplifting and engaging environment for everyone who visits. All ages and skill levels are welcome to attend the 8 workshops and explore Paracord – a strong, colorful nylon cord suitable for all kinds of knotting, weaving, even crochet! This is a great weekend activity for families and it’s free!

This is the first time there has been an art installation at Matthews Muliner Playground! I’d like to thank my community partners – Morris Park Library, Morris Park BID, NYC Parks and Bronx Council on the Arts for making this opportunity possible!
