   Hi Ruth, I had a beautiful conversation with a friend going through a hard time and afterwards strolled the streets in Caroll Gardens thinking about culture and the pressures to conform. I came across a pair of pieces left on the street with a few other objects… they were resin cast ape hands, embedded in one was a baby dead bird. in the other was a beetle. they were so incredible and felt relavent… your name was on them. I brought them home with me and they are on my desk. this is the first time I bothered to look up your name – it seems this is you even though the work you are doing is very different in medium… just wanted to say thank you.
